Calling all hip-hop lovers ages 6 and up, Industry Dance Co. is ecstatic to welcome back Windsor Essex County’s very first and only hip-hop performance company, “DUB-CITY Hustlers.” This pre-professional, hip-hop company is not only dedicated to teaching the next upcoming generation of dancers, but to also broaden our dancers’ repertoire by exposing them to a variety of different hip-hop styles such as popping & locking, animation, krumping, commercial, old school, breakdancing, etc.
Our goal is to provide dancers with opportunities that will not only further their dance training and career in dance, but to also provide them with opportunities that are beyond the stage. Dancers will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most influential names in dance, allowing dancers to gain exposure, build connections and expand their knowledge.
AUDITION INFORMATION
The audition will consist of 2 short routines, one hip-hop and one jazz funk, taught in a classroom setting. Dancers will have short period of time to learn the choreography and will then perform the short routine in-front of a panel of judges. Dancers will be invited back for a “freestyle round” where they will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and show judges their own personal style.

In addition to mandatory training hours, dancers will also be given the opportunity to attend big name hip-hop conventions led by famous, world renown choreographers, become exposed to several different dance styles, have performance opportunities such as concept videos, music videos, shows, etc. and overall, further dancers’ commercial dance training.
Dancers will have the opportunity to participate in 2-3 conventions/workshops throughout the year, participate in master classes taught by knowledgeable, in demand choreographers and have the opportunity to receive professional headshots.
